The Art Bookstore has been operating in its current form since 1997 (interior design by Tomasz Osiński). Its rich and competitively-priced offer attracts both Polish and international customers seeking various art-related publications. We offer a wide range of Zachęta exhibition catalogues, as well as catalogues of exhibitions held at other galleries and museums, albums, books, scholarly papers, essay collections, guidebooks, art history lexicons and other art-related lexicons. One can also find numerous books for children illustrated by outstanding graphic artists, as well as educational materials allowing for enhancing one’s knowledge and understanding of modern art.
The bookstore also has a large DVD section, where one can come across recordings of artistic, theatrical, animating and documentary activities. A wide selection of feature films awarded at film festivals is also available in this section.
Our offer is completed by the vast choice of magazines, postcards, reproductions, calendars, educational toys and games, gadgets with the logo of Zachęta and artistic jewellery.
The Art Bookstore also sells tickets to cultural events, as we cooperate with the company eBilet.
The Art Bookstore is open from Tuesday to Sunday, in the hours 12 a.m. – 8 p.m. It is also open during exhibition openings and other exhibition-accompanying events.
