Do it Yourself – a guide to each exhibition
The folder contains questions that will help you make your own interpretation of the works on show at the exhibition. They deal with various problems that you might like to think about when looking at a work of contemporary art. The background to each question is a different colour. On the other side of the card are to be found additional questions that will help you to dig deeper into the problem.
By some of the works at the exhibition, you will find a sticker whose colour indicates which questions from the folder refer to it.
You do not have to stick to the proposed questions – you can fit other questions to the works you have selected. Remember – there are no wrong answers!
- Take a folder.
- Find at the exhibition the works indicated with a coloured sign (where there is a coloured sticker on a work’s title).
- Ask yourself the question that corresponds to the coloured sticker.
Folders can be obtained free of charge from the gallery ticket office.
